Electrifying Riders Active Membership Requirements

Eligibility is considered on a case-by-case basis.

Must complete and submit application along with application fee.

Must be nominated at general membership meeting by an "Active Member" in good standing.

Must be "Voted In" by unanimous decision.

Must own a motorcycle (600cc minimum).

Must hold a Class M License and proper insurance to operate a motorcycle.

Must complete a mandatory probation period.

Must complete or have completed a MSC within 3 mos of probationary acceptance (if riding experience is less than 1yr).

Must educate self on the history of ER.

Must be willing to abide by by-laws, standing rules and regulations set by ER.

Must become fully knowledgeable of and abide by group riding rules.

Must be willing to wear club colors and/or logo-ed items bearing the name of the Electrifying Riders to all motorcycle related events and/or activities, unless directed not to do so by ER.

Must pay monthly and/or annually club dues to ER as stated in by-laws.

Must attend monthly meetings held by ER.

Must promote unity and fellowship amongst all fellow members of ER.

Must present a favorable image at all times, while a member of ER.

Must actively support all ER selected charities and charitable events as stated in by-laws.

Must actively support a minimum of 50% of community motorcycle functions, events and activities held by outside clubs, organizations and associations.

Must maintain an active voice while a member of the Electrifying Riders.

Must understand that all ER events, activities and functions take precedence over all other motorcycle related events, outside club events, activities and functions.

Associate Membership Requirements 

Motorcycle ownership is not required.

Must be sponsored by an "Active Member" in good standing.

Any immediate family member or significant acquaintance of an "Active Member" is eligible for associate member sponsorship.

Candidates not meeting the above criteria whose association with the club would be considered beneficial to the organization's mission may be recommended by any "Active Member". Note: All recommendations of this type will be considered on a case-by-case basis and sponsors must be able to articulate why such membership is warranted.
